My journey into functional medicine began during my time spent as a hospitalist and Emergency Department provider. During my tenure, I began to feel frustrated by the limits of my training in managing chronic disorders. This awareness sparked a curiosity to approach medicine and treatments differently. I began to explore functional medicine as a way to uncover the root cause of chronic disorders.
